Title IX Office Trainings and Workshops
Overview of Title IX Policies and Resources
- This training introduces participants to Yale’s policies, procedures, and resources related to sex- and gender-based discrimination, including sexual misconduct. The training will cover ways the Title IX Office and Deputy Title IX Coordinators can assist community members, options for reporting concerns, what happens after reporting a concern to Title IX, and resources for accessing confidential support.
Bystander Intervention
- This interactive workshop aims to empower participants to be active bystanders when they witness instances of disrespect and potential harm. Through scenarios and discussion, participants will reflect on their own experiences as bystanders and learn practical strategies to detect and respond to signs of harassment and disrespect in their communities.
Title IX Reporting Responsibilities
- This training covers the role and responsibility of those with Title IX reporting obligations at Yale. Participants will learn who has Title IX reporting obligations at Yale, the purpose of this responsibility, how to fulfill the obligation, and how to respond supportively to disclosures of sexual misconduct in this role.
