The Title IX Education Fellows support a range of activities in the Title IX Office, such as educational, communications, and training initiatives.
Title IX Education Fellows
Uday Addanki
Uday is a first-year MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management and serves as a Title IX Education Fellow. With over seven years of experience in education and social impact at Teach For India, Uday has worked across classrooms, schools, and city-wide programs to create safer and more inclusive learning environments. He is passionate about using his experience in program design, stakeholder engagement, and prevention education to help build communities where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported.
Outside of Yale, Uday enjoys running, racquet sports, and reading historical fiction. He also likes writing stand-up comedy and exploring new cuisines.
Shehr Naz Ashraf
Shehr Naz is a first-year Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Clean Energy and Climate Change. As a Title IX Education Fellow, Shehr Naz hopes to engage with the Yale community to help make campus a safe and inclusive place for all. She enjoys traveling, playing with cats, and rewatching her favorite rom coms.
Brianna Turner
Brianna is a PhD Student in American Studies and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at Yale and a JD Candidate matriculating at Stanford Law School in Fall 2027. Broadly, her research interests are in the intersections of identity in the legal system. As a Title IX Education Fellow, Brianna wants to uplift the work of anti-discrimination policies and to maintain safe & inclusive community space through education.
Outside of her research, Brianna enjoys exploring new culinary recipes, embarking on long walks with friends, and attending theater performances of any scale.
Sophia Vallandingham
Sophia is a first year MPH student at the Yale School of Public Health, concentrating in Health Policy and Implementation Science. She is passionate about prevention-based public health and how evidence-based programs and policies can foster positive, healthy community cultures. She is excited to bring this passion to her role as a Title IX Education Fellow. Outside of school, Sophia enjoys going for walks in East Rock Park, trying new restaurants and ice cream shops, watching sports, and reading on her Kindle.
